GMS Week for 2023 will be from Monday, July 24 to Sunday July 30, 2023. Each year GMS schedules a full week of climbs, scrambles, hikes, social events, and more. Plan to spend the week with us in (or near) Glacier National Park.
See the event calendar for details on scheduled climbs and other events. You can expect to start seeing those posted by March or April 2023.
Luncheon & Meeting
The GMS Annual Membership Meeting and Luncheon will be Saturday, July 29, 2023 at noon in East Glacier. Held each year on the Saturday of GMS week, the Luncheon is a great opportunity to meet other members, discuss routes, plan future trips, and reminisce about past adventures.
The meeting is in the Glacier Park Lodge dining room in East Glacier with a full luncheon along with a presentation, a brief GMS business meeting, and lots of raffle items. We also take a GMS group photo.
For the 2023 Luncheon, we will be featuring a memorial service for GMS Founder Denis Twohig instead of the usual presentation. More details will be posted here and on the event calendar as they are decided.

I’m not a member of GMS now but I would like to attend Denis’ memorial on Saturday July 29th. Will that be possible?
Yes, absolutely, everyone interested in attending the memorial service is welcome to attend at 2PM at the Glacier Park Lodge in East Glacier.
